Air is extracted through a duct to the outside. Review the route and installation provisions for the selected model.
Recirculation
Air passes through the appliance’s filtration system and returns to the room. Check supported accessories and filter care.

Questions worth asking
Does auto-clean mean no manual cleaning?
Follow the selected model’s care instructions. Auto-clean does not establish that all parts are maintenance-free; ask which collectors, filters and surfaces still need attention.
Can I choose size from burner count alone?
Bring the measured hob width and model number to the installation review. Check the appliance documentation and planned position together.
Does a BLDC label guarantee a fixed annual saving?
Compare the models’ rated power and your expected use. A saving estimate also needs an electricity tariff and a clear comparison; the motor label alone does not supply those inputs.
Can a rental home use a recirculating model?
Ask about building permissions, approved mounting and the manufacturer-supported configuration. Rental status alone does not establish that a specific model will fit.
