Your room details

Measured area is the best starting point. If you are exploring with an estimated area, label it accordingly.

1 · Room area

For a rectangular room, multiply length by width in feet. Include connected space in your discussion with the installer.

Examples are illustrative; furniture alone does not establish your actual room area.

2 · Conditions and use

Before you order

Confirm the equipment

Ask for the complete indoor and outdoor model codes, rated capacity, current energy label and written warranty.

Review the installation

Have the installer review placement, clearances, pipe route, drainage and electrical requirements against the selected model’s instructions.

Compare the full cost

Request an itemized quote including installation, accessories and any additional work. Discuss maintenance and local service.

Understand your estimate

Is this a final AC capacity recommendation?

No. This is an area-based estimate for a site discussion. The final choice needs a review of your room, installation conditions and the selected appliance.

What if I do not know the room area?

You can explore with a clearly labelled example. Measure the actual room before buying and tell the installer about any connected spaces.

Why do daily usage hours appear in the questions?

Usage helps frame the running-cost discussion; it does not change this tool’s cooling-load estimate. Compare the current energy label and purchase price using your expected use and electricity tariff.

Why can an estimate show no matching product?

The source catalogue is limited. The tool does not substitute a lower-capacity listing or invent a multi-unit design when a matching selection is unavailable.
