- The exact tub: model code, material, finish, overall size, usable bathing space and included parts.
- Fittings: filler or mixer, waste and overflow components, and whether they are supplied together.
- Installation: manufacturer drawing, support requirements, access for maintenance and work needed before fitting.
- Your bathroom: have the installer review the water supply, drainage and waterproofing; ask the relevant professional to confirm structural suitability where needed.
- Powered systems: for a whirlpool or other powered model, request its electrical and service requirements from the manufacturer and qualified installer.
- The full amount: taxes, delivery, assembly, installation, enclosure or finishing work, and any excluded items.
- After purchase: local service, warranty conditions, replacement parts and the delivery or return process.

Questions to settle before ordering.
Is a freestanding tub always the best choice?
It depends on your layout and how you use the room. Compare access, cleaning, plumbing and the chosen model’s installation requirements with built-in or pre-wall options.
Does every bathtub include jets?
No. A plain soaking tub and a powered bath system are different configurations. Confirm the exact product and included equipment in writing.
Can I use the listed outer dimensions to judge comfort?
Outer dimensions help with layout, but the inside shape also matters. Ask for the usable interior dimensions and try the displayed model where possible.
Why are there no fixed brand price ranges?
Different models, systems and included fittings can vary substantially. Compare current itemized quotations for the models you are actually considering.
What should I check if the bathroom is compact?
Measure the room and door openings, then review the proposed tub and the space needed to use and maintain it. Do not assume a category described as compact will fit your particular room.
